Students interested in learning English and having the true Australian experience now have the opportunity to do both when enrolling at IIA. The GE + OZ farm Program is designed to make the most of your time in Australia without having to organise everything yourself.
All at once! English skills + Experience Australia + Earn Money!!
Objective | Program |
Improve English (12 weeks) | · General English Core studies + Optional classes (Writing, Grammar, Pronunciation workshop etc.) · 2 hours of extra, specialised workshops and tutorials · Access to all student facilities (e.g. resource centre, student kitchen, recreation area etc.) · Access to all student activities & counselling/consultation (e.g. Social Nights, Talk Shops, Job Workshops etc.) |
Complete farm training course (5 days) | Learn off-road motor bike riding, tractor driving and operating, horse riding, cattle work on horseback and in the yards, fencing, chain saw operation, farm and outback safety and much more. · Pick-up from Gympie bus station · 5 days of training in farm-work skills · Food and accommodation included · Assistance in purchasing appropriate shoes, torches, pocket knives etc. · Provision of shirt, hat and water bottle · Job selection & Provision of required paperwork |
Work and earn money on a farm | Various farm work · Minimum wage : from $350 + Aussie style food and Accommodation (You can save $200 per week!) · Work with Australians & make international friends · Second working holiday visa applicable |
